				I've used A Guy & A Hammer LLC twice: once to install a new garage service door a couple years ago and recently to assess & repair cedar shingle siding, trim and soffits on my 100+ year old historic home. Both times, I was very pleased with the work they did.



It's not easy to find contractors willing to take on old house repairs but Tim & Zachary really came through for me. They evaluated the condition of the existing wood then replaced what was necessary, taking care to  "embed" the patch into its surroundings so it looks like one solid piece of wood. The crew was very tidy, carefully removing debris as they went and ensuring that the area around the house was pristine when they left.



Tim is incredibly responsive and great at communicating, taking time to answer my many questions and updating me on the crew's progress. I highly recommend A Guy & A Hammer LLC for home repairs!

				The team from A Guy and a Hammer were awesome to work with.  I had them remodel the kitchen, convert a bedroom to a dining room, and opened the wall between the two rooms.  They were courteous and pleasant to work with, and the communication was wonderful throughout the project.  I am extremely pleased with the end result, and would recommend them to others.

				We had part of the unfinished portion of our basement turned into a finished, beautiful bedroom. The transformation was really remarkable. Tim and his crew were extremely professional, and the communication was always clear and prompt. We are extremely pleased with the work that they did, especially the custom built register covers.
