A Guy & A Hammer is a full-service home renovations company specializing in kitchen, bath, basement finish, and whole-house remodeling. Founded in 1997, clients have come to trust us for our innovative design, quality craftsmanship, and fulfillment of expectations. Our Story

When the company first started, our founder Tim Bader had little more than his skills and tools; he was literally a guy and a hammer. However, he knew the company was destined for something bigger. Through the years, he worked his way, building hundreds of small remodeling requests and medium-sized renovation projects. Persistence played an important role during these times.

Today, we are proud to say that we have become one of the most trusted, longest-running home renovation companies in and around the Green Bay area. We are now more than capable of handling various projects ranging from bathroom remodeling to large-scale home renovations and additions. Just tell us what you need. 				I've used A Guy & A Hammer LLC twice: once to install a new garage service door a couple years... read moreI've used A Guy & A Hammer LLC twice: once to install a new garage service door a couple years ago and recently to assess & repair cedar shingle siding, trim and soffits on my 100+ year old historic home. Both times, I was very pleased with the work they did.

It's not easy to find contractors willing to take on old house repairs but Tim & Zachary really came through for me. They evaluated the condition of the existing wood then replaced what was necessary, taking care to  "embed" the patch into its surroundings so it looks like one solid piece of wood. The crew was very tidy, carefully removing debris as they went and ensuring that the area around the house was pristine when they left.

Tim is incredibly responsive and great at communicating, taking time to answer my many questions and updating me on the crew's progress. I highly recommend A Guy & A Hammer LLC for home repairs! read less

They were courteous and pleasant to work with, and the communication was wonderful throughout the project.
