A Guy & A Hammer is a full-service home renovations company specializing in kitchen, bath, basement finish, and whole-house remodeling. Founded in 1997, clients have come to trust us for our innovative design, quality craftsmanship, and fulfillment of expectations. We have all the skills and resources needed to take on your residential remodeling or renovation project.

Our Story

When the company first started, our founder Tim Bader had little more than his skills and tools; he was literally a guy and a hammer. However, he knew the company was destined for something bigger. Through the years, he worked his way, building hundreds of small remodeling requests and medium-sized renovation projects. Persistence played an important role during these times.

Today, we are proud to say that we have become one of the most trusted, longest-running home renovation companies in and around the Green Bay area. We are now more than capable of handling various projects ranging from bathroom remodeling to large-scale home renovations and additions. Just tell us what you need. Each project has been completed with excellent results, and the roofing project was no different.   Tim provided the price quote in a timely manner, and explained exactly how the work would be completed.  The crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time and immediately began working on the roof.  They were polite and efficient.  The project was completed within the projected time frame and within the proposed budget.  The team thoroughly cleaned the work site and made sure to ask if we had any questions before they departed.   We were completely satisfied with this project, and we look forward to working again with A Guy and a Hammer in the future. read less

Tim did a great job planning, explaining the process, and communicating throughout the project.  The guys on site were always polite and did a great job.  Very happy with the results.  Will absolutely use them again if we have a big repair job in the future. read less

A Guy and a Hammer did a great job.  I got three bids and they were substantially lower then the other two.  They completed the job in 3 days.
